About

A magnificent building executed in the classic architectural style, which houses the modern library of Wrocław city. The history of the "Ossolineum" has its roots in the city of Lviv, where Count Ossolinsky established a book fund that was continuously supplemented with collections from well-known individuals. Later, the majority of the books moved to Wrocław, which did not prevent the council of Lviv from establishing the Vasyl Stefanyk National Library on its territory, known as the third largest in all of Ukraine.
