About

Probably, in every city of Central Europe, you can find a majestic temple built in the Gothic style, distinguished from other buildings by its refined features - in Wroclaw, such is the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene.

Currently, in the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, one can find a Romanesque portal - the preserved part of the church built at the end of the 11th century in the same place. In the 14th century, the church was famed for having the largest bell of the time, measuring 2 meters in height. For various reasons, the building sustained damages, and parts of it were destroyed, but by 1972, the church was fully restored.

Today, one can visit the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene as a tourist, to appreciate the magnificence and beauty of the temple both inside and out, and to feel the unique energy of this ancient place.
