This is a restaurant to experience. For picky eaters, everyone was able to find things they enjoyed. Everything is À la cart, so be prepared.

Kit took wonderful care of us; he was friendly, professional, and made helpful suggestions. The atmosphere is lovely, the restaurant is very clean. The food was good, but a few items came out a bit off, and for those prices this should never be the case = miso cod wasn’t caramelized, the skin was not at all crispy + the crispy rice was overcooked and chewy, and the cubes were all stuck together. But, otherwise, everything was a FIVE STAR experience!

I been to several other Nobu in other states but this location is not the best or same quality as the other places. I have enjoyed all other locations very much and I was so excited about the Sunday AYCE brunch but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. My sister and I went to the DC location. The set up reminded me of a cafeteria style place and the food was a bigger disappointment. I knew going there that the quality of the sushi would be different from the regular menu but didn't expect to be so much different. The sushi rice wasn't as tasty and the size of of the sashimi was quite small. Not to mention that each nigiri was filled with a large amount of rice. I ended up removing half of the rice from each pieces. The hamachi was dry and tasteless. The tuna was descent and I did have a few pieces of that. The spicey tuna crispy rice wasn't tasteful and I did enjoy that and that was about it. Wait, shrimp cocktail was good too and that's it. The salmon was bland and the cod was quite salty. In fact, the broccolini and the Brussel sprouts were salty too. My belly was full from all the water and green tea that I drank. The staff was friendly but I didn't have much interactions since it was a self service menu. I wouldn't recommend the AYCE Sunday menu for the price.
