Reviews and Ratings
Write a reviewIt’s literally a parking lot surrounded by shipping containers but it’s the best bar in DC
Bullpen is a great space. Regardless of the event, it's a good time. Wish they had actual restrooms instead of porta potties but it's still good. Edit: Security wildly inconsistent. All events I've been to, they hold my pepper spray because I ride the metro over and it is a safety metro. They ALWAYS hold my pepper spray at the front. ALWAYS. This time they said the girl who held it go fired or they threw it away or she is inside and they can't find her. Whatever the story was, it was nonsense. The part that actually led me to leave a bad review is the fact that one of the security guards said that I "better give it to God" when I explained why I needed my pepper spray. Making such a statement when a Black woman is telling you why she needs a safety measure is not only unprofessional but it also makes it seem like safety is not a priority of the Bullpen staff. Following this statement, I was threatened with a ban because I was rightfully upset about the poor taste joke. And the icing on the cake is when I finally got to the metro without my spray, another woman who was also at the same party told me and showed me that security actually LET HER IN TO THE VENUE WITH PEPPER SPRAY. Like I said wildly inconsistent.
Great outdoor atmosphere but the drink booths are a total rip off and stole my money. One of them had $10 shots posted on the sign and my friends and I got 3 shots that somehow ended up costing a total of $90! Someone should investigate that place because that’s theft.
