Esquinita Mía – Saved the Best for Last We found Esquinita Mía on our first day in Valencia—drawn in by the music, the mellow corner vibe, and a host, Fernando, with the kind of cheeky charm you’d expect from a cousin at a wedding. We knew we’d be back. And on our last day, we returned like seasoned regulars. The entraña he recommended? Absolutely divine. Charred just right, tender as a secret, and paired with wine that made us feel like we’d made excellent life choices. The whole place hums with good energy—chilled tunes, relaxed pace, and a host who could easily moonlight as a stand-up comic or a matchmaker for food and wine. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve found your corner of the world. We did. Twice. Sláinte from start to finish 🍷
