We had an excellent experience at Batumi, a Georgian restaurant in Valencia. For starters we tried the eggplant rolls filled with walnut paste and chicken in walnut sauce – both were absolutely delicious. For the main course we had slow-cooked lamb with vegetables and prunes, and lamb khinkali. Personally, I enjoyed the khinkali a lot, though my partner felt the filling could have been a bit juicier and the dough thinner – still, they were tasty and well-prepared. Everything else was simply perfect. We finished with adjaruli khachapuri, and the staff kindly offered to mix the cheese and egg for us. The Bellini cocktail was also excellent, and the recommended wine paired perfectly with the food. Service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We didn’t have to wait long for any dish, and the staff spoke Russian, Spanish, and English, explaining everything with patience. The restaurant is located on a quiet street, with both indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating available. The interior is very pleasant, with soft Georgian music playing in the background, creating a cozy atmosphere. If I lived in Valencia, I would gladly come back again and again – highly recommended!
