This beautiful former mansion is certainly worth a visit. The ground floor houses a cafe with good food, and a few rooms for dining or for private functions. The first floor has two sections: one is the permanent exhibit, and the other was about Opera costumes at the time of our visit. The permanent exhibit is about the family who built the house and about the house's history. The group in charge have done a fabulous job of restoring the building after the devastation it suffered through the years. Very interesting and informative. The Opera costume exhibit was also interesting. I'm not an Opera fan, but these outfits were something else! Some included pictures of the actor wearing them, including Rudolph Nureyev and Pavarotti. A couple were designed by Picasso. This is a beautiful place, which we enjoyed very much.
