Disclaimer - I do not go there for atmosphere. I go there when I want good, comforting, delicious and filling home-cooked traditional food. This place always delivers. My stomach feels happy. I am happy. I am FED. I always go for meat stews - well cooked, well seasoned, taste like childhood. AKA recommended through and through. Also - there are pancakes. With jam, with curd, with cherries, I think.
