Let me start by saying that the food is very good! Also the location is pretty impressive, up in the mountain with a beautiful view of the city. Parking is nearly non-existant and the service is more of a self service.

Waldheim-Sommerabend in Stuttgart, wie er schöner kaum sein kann. Wunderbare grüne Aussicht über die Stadt, tolle persische Gerichte. Der Rosinenreis mit Lamm ein kulinarisches Gedicht der beiden freundlichen Köchinnen aus der Heimatstadt von Firdosi!

Ganz ehrlich? Persisch-schwäbische Küche haben wir bei unserem spontanen Besuch an einem Samstagmittag im Waldheim nicht erwartet, aber es war wirklich köstlich. Besonders der Spätzleseintopf mit Kichererbsen war vorzüglich. Es gab einige vegetarische und vegane Gerichte, aber auch viele mit Fleisch, so dass jeder auf seine Kosten kommen sollte. Im Winter war die Aussicht schön, aber wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn es etwas grüner ist!
