Backhaus was a lifesaver - opens at 6:30 am, unlike most bakeries around here that start at 8:30/9 am. My jet-lagged partner and I were famished. They've got a great selection of savory sandwiches and pastries at decent prices. My turkey ham sandwich was fresh and delicious - the bread, ham, and salad all tasted top-notch. I inhaled it in a few bites. And the custard pastry had a perfect balance of sweet, eggy custard and flaky pastry crust.

Die Mitarbeiter sind leider sehr unfreundlich und wirken oft arrogant – egal, ob man Stammkunde oder Laufkundschaft ist. Freundlichkeit scheint hier nicht zum Konzept zu gehören. Sehr schade, denn das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber der Service schreckt einfach ab. ....
