Köttbullarna sas vara hemmagjorda, men var så kompakta, gummiartade och smaklösa som färdigköttbullar brukar vara. Den tillhörande såsen hade en märklig och inte särskilt angenäm smak. I tillägg saknade serveringspersonalen grundläggande förståelse för födoämnesallergi och sa att pannkakorna inte innehöll ägg (en uppenbar gissning). När hen fick frågan en gång till dubbelkollade hen med köket och fick då veta att de givetvis innehöll ägg.
