Oben ein parkähnlicher Kreisverkehr mit Springbrunnen. Unten ein U-Bahnhof. Direkt daneben ein Einkaufszentrum.

Karlaplan is a star square with a park and a fountain on Östermalm in central Stockholm. It is where Karlavägen, Narvavägen, Östermalmsgatan, Lützengatan, Värtavägen and Styrmansgatan meet. The square received its current name at the same time as Karlavägen in connection with the name revision in Stockholm in 1885. The name choice fell under the category of patriotic and historical names and is intended to honor Swedish kings such as Charles X Gustav, Charles XI and Charles XII.
