Se cercate una vera gemma culinaria nel cuore di Siviglia, Mechela Arenal è una tappa imperdibile. La nostra serata qui è stata un viaggio di sapori che difficilmente dimenticheremo. Abbiamo iniziato con delle croquetas di pesce rombo, delicate e cremose, un antipasto che ha aperto perfettamente la cena. Poi, per la prima volta, ci siamo avventurati in due piatti che ci hanno conquistato: una sorprendente fideuá crujiente de calamar con alioli negro, con un equilibrio unico tra consistenze e sapori, e un profumatissimo arroz iberico de bellota, ricco e avvolgente, che ci ha fatto scoprire nuove sfumature della cucina andalusa. Il gran finale è stato affidato ai dessert: una cheesecake vellutata e un gelato al mango fritto, accompagnato da un elegante vino dolce all’arancia che ha reso ogni boccone ancora più speciale. Un plauso particolare va a Jasmine, che con la sua professionalità, gentilezza e passione ci ha guidati nella scelta dei piatti e dei vini, trasformando questa cena in un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile. Mechela Arenal non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove ogni dettaglio, dall’ambiente passando per la cucina e il servizio, contribuisce a creare ricordi da portare con sé.

Stumbled in here as we were looking for a restaurant that is open from 7PM and close to the carpark on the Main Street. Most restaurants only open at 8PM in Seville and many of the good restaurants are tucked inside the narrow streets so not accessible by car. The waitress was very friendly and seated us quickly without a reservation. The food came out a bit slow but each dish was meticulously prepared and delicious. They have a great wine selection also. There were only 2 waiters for the restaurant so there is a limit to how much they can attend to you but they are fairly efficient once you get their attention. The food was one of the best we had in Seville. If you have some time for a slow relaxed meal this is the place. The shrimp ceviche, cold soup, pork shoulder, Iberico rice were all delicious!
