Originally a 14th-century Mudéjar building, it was transformed into its current form in the 18th century. Write a reviewOtro magnífico templo situado en el centro de Sevills. Fue construido entre 1794 y 1841, tras el derribo por ruina del anterior. Dedicado a San Ildefonso, obispo de Toledo del siglo VI, uno de los padres de la iglesia, que se formó en Sevilla con San Isidoro. Gran devoto a la Virgen, que se le aparecería en la catedral de Toledo, imponiendo una casulla, Sus escritos tuvieron gran influencia en la iglesia de su tiempo. Se representa con mitra, pluma, libro y báculo. Merece la pena visitarla,tanto por el templo como por las imágenes que atesora.
Die Kirche San Ildefonso in Sevilla, eine der 24 ursprünglichen Pfarreien nach der Rückeroberung 1248, blickt auf eine reiche Geschichte zurück. An ihrer Stelle standen einst eine westgotische Kirche, später Bäder und eine Moschee. Der ursprüngliche Mudéjar-Bau aus dem 14. Jahrhundert wurde nach dem Erdbeben von Lissabon 1755 abgerissen. Der heutige neoklassizistische Tempel wurde von 1794 bis 1841 erbaut. Zu den Höhepunkten gehören das Keramikaltarbild „Vater unser gefangener und geretteter Jesus“ und ein Werk von Antonio Kirrnam Flores. Für mich ist das beeindruckendste das Gemälde der Jungfrau von der Koralle aus dem 14. Jahrhundert im Evangeliumsschiff, die eine Korallenkette trägt und ein Kind mit einem Vogel zeigt.
