There was only one person working tables, but he was very attentive when I could get to you...he forgot to put in our order at one point, but it was OK, we were there for the atmosphere and company.

Got to try quite a few dishes here last night and they were all good. Really liked the potato croquettes as they were very creamy and satisfying to eat. the amberjack crudo was a step up, with a burst of sharp, maybe vinegary flavor. Better was the donburi; the fish just melted in your mouth. But the best dish that i tried was the crab risotto, and let me tell you i could eat a bucket of it. Our server, Hugo, was awesome. Really easy to talk to and helped make our night really fun. Oh and a friend with us was vegetarian and really liked what they came up with for him to eat. Finally, I'm not really a sake drinker, but i got to try a sip of the red samurai and the green samurai sakes. Both were smooth, went down easy, but i really liked the slight tartness of the green samurai. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
