Love this spot! Relaxing community spot near Ocean Beach in the Outer Richmond district. So glad we have this place in the neighborhood.

Ocean Plant (aka Andytown Coffee Roasters) is one of the most refreshing spots in the Outer Sunset. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit. It feels calm, open, and thoughtfully designed with a laid-back surf motif that puts you at ease right away. One standout feature is their “tech detox” policy on weekends. From Friday through Sunday, they ask guests to unplug, and people actually follow it. I saw groups chatting, reading, and playing board games instead of staring at screens. There’s a cozy games corner with chess, cards, and backgammon, along with a nice selection of books and unique surf-themed items for sale. The space encourages you to slow down and enjoy being present. Its location is another big plus. Just steps from the beach, it offers great views of the ocean and the calming sound of waves in the background. Whether you’re catching up with a friend, taking a solo break, or winding down after a beach walk, Ocean Plant offers a peaceful, intentional space. It’s more than just a coffee shop. It’s a community spot that brings people together and reminds you what life feels like without constant digital distraction.

There is nice and cute, but not enough spot to sit to enjoy the view and drink the coffee, limited chairs.
