About

Patricias Green is a vibrant spot in San Francisco's Hayes Valley that epitomizes urban renewal. Once the site of the Central Freeway, its transformation after the 1989 earthquake showcases the power of community-driven change. This charming park, named in honor of local activist Patricia Walkup, features a climbing dome playground and ever-changing Burning Man-inspired sculptures that capture the creative spirit of the city. With clean paths, cozy benches, and shaded spots, it's an ideal place for families and pet owners alike to unwind.
