About
Standing proudly at 210 feet, Coit Tower offers not only a piece of San Francisco's rich history but also breathtaking 360-degree views of the city's iconic skyline. Opened in October 1933 and designed by Arthur Brown Jr., this landmark sits on a 1.7-acre plot and continues to attract visitors with its historical charm. The tower's interior is adorned with stunning murals created by 26 Californian artists, capturing the essence of 1930s life and societal issues, making it a feast for both the eyes and the mind. While reaching the top is easy due to the well-designed stairwell, those sensitive to tight spaces can rest easy knowing that the ascent is manageable. Although the elevator isn't always operational, a guided tour can enrich your visit with insightful commentary.
For families, Coit Tower is perfectly suitable and kids will find plenty to engage with as they explore the murals. If you're opting for public transport, buses from Embarcadero/Pier 39 make your journey hassle-free, getting you close enough to enjoy a picturesque walk through the area, while scooters can zip you even closer to the base. For an added treat, nearby coffee bars and scenic walks provide the perfect end to a delightful visit. With a high average rating of 4.5 on Google, Coit Tower promises an enriching experience in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

Great but trees have grown up over most views. Sad!

Es una experiencia relajada, si no sirve el ascensor y no te gustan los escalones mejor no la visites. Hay bonitas vistas y requiere poco tiempo.

A must see!!
