2025 Parks

Spanning the territories of three Austrian states and located on the highest ridge, the High Tauern is covered with green meadows and forests. It is here that the famous brother-waterfalls Krimml and Golling along with the mountain gorge Liechtensteinklamm, and also the mountain Grossglockner are found. Thousands of tourists visit here annually to try their hand at mountaineering and to explore the mountain routes that pass through the pristine nature of the reserve. By the way, the total area of the park reaches 181,500 hectares, making it the largest in size in all of Central Europe.
