Южную точку Зальцбурга занимает величественный и закрытый для свободного посещения туристами дворец Леопольдскрон. Ввиду того, что дворец является частной собственностью, попасть за его неприступные стены довольно сложно, разве что посетив семинар или остановившись во флигеле. В центре здания расположена высокая восьмиугольная башня, а внутреннее убранство дополнено старинными картинами Ренси. Прилегающую к замку территорию особенно любят посещать творческие люди, привыкшие черпать вдохновение в особенных местах, наполненных энергией старины и хранящих в каждом своем метре наследие прошлой эпохи.

The property is beautiful but the rooms in the Meierhof building definitely leave something to be desired. They are very simple and basic for the price, and we did not feel that they reflected the nightly rate or the photos we saw online. Both buildings are very dated and in need of modernization. Breakfast was tasty and it was easy enough to get to town via bus/walking/bike rental from the hotel. It takes a bit of effort to get to restaurants. The food in the Meierhof cafe is limited and expensive.

This was an amazing place to stay at right out of a movie. The grounds are spectacular. A very romantic place to visit. The rooms need some upgrading and throttle the halls Of the inner hotel. The breakfast that's included is outstanding.It's such a fresh and delicious bread. The staff it is amazing. Everybody treated us so kind and made sure that we had what we need it. Helped us with reservations and all. Had a fantastic time here. They had a lot of events that weekend. We attended one that was for the Sound of Music....And it was absolutely marvelous. The hotel is very close to the center of town. They even have bicycles that you can use.It was great!!

Friendly staff, very lovely vintage hotel and the dining hall/area is to die for. The early morning view is astonishing. I will definitely stay there again!
