Het interieur is nationaal erfgoed. Het personeel een verademing. De broodjes kip kerrie, steak, dynamite en bakkeljauw waren zoals ze horen.

Hele karige porties vergeleken met andere toko's. Kip is droog. Aardappel was niet gaar, nog hard van binnen. Roti smaak is ver te zoeken. Het was geen saus meer een soepje. 1e keer maar zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
