Niet gereserveerd en op de wilde boef naar daar gewandeld. We worden aangesproken in het Engels, ik antwoord in het Nederlands, en er wordt halsstarrig in het Engels geantwoord. De hele avond zullen we in het Engels bediend worden, terwijl ik ze onderling Nederlands tegen elkaar hoor praten. Wat is dat toch tegenwoordig in die Nederlandse grootsteden? Ok, we willen bekakt doen? Geen probleem. Het menu is vet in het Frans (want o wat zijn we Parisien) en het Nederlands. Dus ik besluit de bestelling te doen in het Frans. Mja, dat bleek te moeilijk voor de bediening. Ergens wel hilarisch. Goed, zand erover, we zullen wel Engels praten in Nederland. Buiten dit viel de bediening wel mee. Wat niet zo mee viel: honden toegelaten, waardoor je naar elkaar blaffende honden hebt. Uit viel het traag gegaard varkenswangetje wat tegen qua hoeveelheid. En dat voor €32. Als groente kregen we er een half slahartje bij. De frietjes waren mcdonalds frietjes. Fijn en volledig doorbakken. Je weet niet meer dat dit ooit een aardappel was. Maar ja, het waren dan ook Franse frietjes 😉. Voor €5,25 wordt er stokbrood op tafel gezet. A volonté. Alleen is het na 4 schijfjes stokbrood gedaan en wordt er niet bijgevuld. Eindconclusie: eten was niet slecht, maar prijs kwaliteit kan dit veel beter. En stop met bekakt Engels te praten met een Hollandse tongval.

Lauren the manager is very good at taking care of her customers. We didn't book a reservation for happy hour for our first visit but still got sat. Our table was unfortunately very small so when did book a reservation for happy hour the following week. she remembered us and made sure to give us a table with ample space. Additionally, the food has been remarkably both times. The servers have been so friendly and inviting. Both Pamela and Stephan were fabulous.

Geen woorden, alles was heerlijk!! Mosselen, frietjes, vlees, salade (wat van mij iets meer gemogen had 🙈) de creme brulee en chocolade mousse!!!! Dit was echt een bijzondere ervaring en had nooit geweten dat er zo een restaurant in Rotterdam zit. Ook hele lieve serveersters die je graag willen helpen en inderdaad een leuke franse sfeer. Ik kom vaker terug 😊
