Reseña profesional: Foro Itálico (Roma, Italia) El Foro Itálico es un impresionante complejo deportivo y monumental situado al norte de Roma, a los pies del Monte Mario. Construido durante la década de 1930 bajo el régimen de Mussolini, originalmente conocido como Foro Mussolini, representa una combinación única de arquitectura fascista, arte clásico y funcionalidad deportiva. Diseñado por los arquitectos Enrico Del Debbio y Luigi Moretti, el recinto destaca por su espectacular Avenida de losas de mármol blanco con mosaicos en blanco y negro que exaltan la fuerza física y el deporte, flanqueada por estatuas de mármol de atletas desnudos en estilo neoclásico, donadas por diferentes provincias italianas. El conjunto incluye instalaciones emblemáticas como el Stadio dei Marmi, rodeado de estatuas monumentales; el Stadio Olimpico, sede de grandes eventos deportivos y conciertos; y centros de entrenamiento de alto nivel. A pesar de su origen ideológico, hoy el Foro Itálico se ha resignificado como un importante núcleo del deporte y la cultura en la Roma contemporánea.
