Ich habe Subway im DEZ schon mehrfach besucht – die Erfahrungen waren gemischt, daher vergebe ich insgesamt 3 Sterne. Die Filiale ist zentral im Einkaufszentrum gelegen, was praktisch ist, wenn man schnell etwas essen möchte. Der Laden selbst ist sauber, aber recht klein, sodass es zu Stoßzeiten schnell eng und ungemütlich werden kann. Sitzplätze sind begrenzt und oft besetzt, was das Verweilen erschwert. Das Personal ist in der Regel freundlich, allerdings wirkt es manchmal gestresst oder unorganisiert – besonders wenn mehrere Kunden gleichzeitig anstehen. Die Beratung bei der Auswahl der Zutaten fällt dann oft knapp aus, und auf individuelle Wünsche wird nicht immer genau eingegangen. Da ist auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben, was den Service betrifft. Das Essen ist, wie man es von Subway kennt: frisch zubereitet und individuell zusammenstellbar. Die Auswahl an Brotsorten, Belägen und Soßen ist gut, allerdings habe ich bei meinem letzten Besuch bemerkt, dass einige Zutaten nicht verfügbar waren. Das Sandwich war geschmacklich okay, aber nichts Herausragendes – Brot war etwas zu weich, und das Gemüse wirkte nicht ganz so frisch wie gewohnt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass man schnell zu einem warmen Snack kommt, der etwas individueller ist als klassische Fast-Food-Alternativen. Wer keine großen Ansprüche stellt und einfach eine schnelle Mahlzeit sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wer jedoch Wert auf gleichbleibende Qualität und guten Service legt, könnte enttäuscht sein. Insgesamt ein solider Ort für den schnellen Hunger zwischendurch – aber mit Verbesserungspotenzial in Sachen Frische, Service und Organisation.
