About

Trinity Church in Regensburg is a striking testament to Baroque architecture, echoing the history and culture of Bavaria since 1631. As one of the first new Evangelical Lutheran churches, designed by Hanns Carl, it stands as a monumental symbol in the city. Visitors are greeted with the serenity of a well-maintained space, where the ambience is enriched by stunning stained-glass windows casting vibrant hues across the interior. A noteworthy feature is the impressive organ, whose majestic tones resonate through the nave, enhancing the spiritual and cultural experience.

For those seeking a glimpse of the city's skyline, ascend the tower for a modest fee of €2.5 and witness a panoramic view that includes the iconic patrician towers of Regensburg. Inside, a review book invites visitors to share their reflections, connecting past and present through personal stories. This grandest new church of its time opens not just its doors but its history and spirit to all who visit.

Belle église plutôt sobre, mais aux beaux décors. Balcons sculptés. Magnifique vue sur la vieille ville de Regensburg depuis le clocher auquel on accède par un grinçant escalier pluricentenaire (sportif !).
