We came for the Sunday roast with my family. Great food, fantastic ambience. The service was brilliant. Met with the owner Barry who was very welcoming and courteous. A must visit in Islington.

My partner and I booked our wedding at Smokehouse, Islington. It was booked for 75 people. Prior to booking, the team were really helpful in understanding what we would want from the day and helped get everything organised. On the day, we provided everything that was needed for the tables but they went through it all and set up beforehand. It looked exactly as we imagined it would. The food selection was incredible. We opted for Lamb & Fish (Turbot) as our sharing options for the guests. It did not disappoint and we received lots of comments how it may be the best food people have had at a wedding/at a restaurant. There was plenty (if not too much!) to go around on the day and we hadn't even got to dessert. The Pavlova in particular went down a storm. We had a DJ booked for later on and there was ample space away from the tables for her to setup and the guests to enjoy dancing. The staff, throughout the day were incredible, incredibly attentive. They were very quick to fill up drinks on the tables and there was practically no wait at the bar when people needed it. All in all, it was a fabulous day made possible by the staff at Smokehouse and thanks to them, it was a day we'll never forget.
