Our group of four (two couples) have just spent 12 days in Portugal, between Lisbon, Porto and Portimao, eating in a variety of great restaurants and we all agreed that Brilhante was the best place that we have eaten. We had the scallops and croquettes for starters and the tenderloin (2), cordon bleu chicken and mushroom risotto for mains and were all blown away by the food. The Clover Club cocktail was described by my wife as the best cocktail that she’s ever had. Service was impeccable as well! At the end of the meal, we all agreed that we would come back to Lisbon again just to eat here! (We live in the Caribbean.)

J’ai adoré l’atmosphère, ambiance années 20 dans le décor avec ce superbe comptoir qui fait le tour d’une cuise centrale ouverte. À mon avis la meilleure place pour manger est au comptoir où on voit les chefs à l’œuvre. La nourriture était excellente, et les suggestions de la sommelière très adaptée. J’y retournerai avec plaisir.

We had an unexpectedly great lunch here. Was looking for a quiet restaurant to have a business call when we came across Brilhante. The food and atmosphere was uniquely brilliant. The staff was on top of their game and there for every need. The secret steak recipe is the must have item on the menu.
