My 86 year old mother again made us go out of our way, driven across the city, to go to Buon Appetito for lunch, because the staff are "always so nice" to her. Liz and her colleagues always welcome us with cheery words and good food, though she only popped in today. We were looked after today by Carol and Chloe. The restaurant has had a makeover which also is good to see. Thank you again Buon Appetito for looking after my Mum so well. Seems even though my last review was over a year ago, I seem only able to update/edit that one and not add a new one..

I've been coming to this wee cafe since I was a baby with my mum and dad. Now I come along with my own babies over the years anytime I am in the arcade. Always the place to go with my family and friends. The staff make the place what it is, the food is brilliant always. The atmosphere is always great. Love their tea, coffee and cakes too. This place is like the heart of Rutherglen to me. A wee hidden gem. One place that still remains over all these years, and no wonder.
