Amid the frenzied hustle and bustle of Montmartre, the quaint and cozy restaurant La Maison Rose stands as a unique oasis. Its main feature is the color of its exterior walls. At one time, aspiring artist Maurice Utrillo, without asking the owner's permission, repainted them from white to pink. After that, the restaurant appeared before the inhabitants of Paris in various color variations for several years, until in 1929 Utrillo became famous, and his creations, in this way, became untouchable.

We just came for a drink. Nice place with seats outside. It's just out of the noisy street by the cathedral. If you like nice atmosphere with organic food and drinks you have to visit.
