About

From the very first day of its establishment, Molitor became a relaxation spot for the wealthy and noble crowd. In the summer, it hosted fashionable shows and balls, while in winter, it transformed into an ice rink. In 1989, the city authorities planned to demolish the building to construct a residential complex in its place, but the Parisians resisted. The building was preserved, but it then became a haven for skateboarders, graffiti enthusiasts, and so on. The new millennium brought positive changes to the pool's history - it was renovated and reopened, though not as a pool, but as a hotel complex.
