About
Versailles is the pride of Parisians and a masterpiece of architecture for all time. A domain of kings, this building has witnessed numerous victories and defeats, intrigues, and changes of dynasties throughout its history. It was from Versailles that newly established princes and monarchs of Europe took their cues for emulation, yet none of them managed to surpass the grandeur that suffuses every stone of this famous palace. Initially constructed as a place for relaxation after hunting, with the ascent of Louis XIV, the Sun King, to power, Versailles radiated in all its glory, and since then, nothing could diminish its brilliance.

Reviews and Ratings
