Picasso Museum in Paris
About
The Picasso Museum is one of the most famous European museums. Following the death of the artist, who was born and raised in France, his heirs donated the paintings to the state, thereby avoiding the need to pay taxes. Given that the authorities in Paris had long wanted to open a Picasso museum, they gladly seized this opportunity. After this, the collection continued to grow. This was facilitated by the acquisition of artworks from private collections, charitable donations, and gifts.
