Todo un mundo abierto a la imaginación encerrado en sus libros. Biblioteca completísima, con libros, películas, música, prensa... Muy recomendable, abre a diario y también fines de semana y festivos.

Biblioteca de Asturies 'Ramón Pérez de Ayala' (1985-87), en la Plaza Daoíz y Velarde, 11, Uviéu (Asturies). Edificio de la Casa de Comedias o Teatro del Fontán (1671) según proyecto del maestro arquitecto Ignacio de Cajigal (1666), anexo al Palacio del Duque del Parque. Fue ejecutado por los maestros de obras Pablo de Cubas Ceballos, Diego González de Gajano y Juan de Estrada. Remodelado en 1799 y 1849. Sólo se conserva la fachada principal, regular y asimétrica -escudo real en el centro y cruz de los ángeles-, pues como ya se había edificado el Teatro Campoamor (1892) el ayuntamiento acordó su derribo en 1901, dejando en pie sólo las fachadas. El proyecto (1984) de biblioteca del Ministerio de Cultura, respetando los pocos elementos históricos conservados, fue obra del arquitecto José Ramón Álvarez García. Remodelado interiormente (2007).
