I visited Katla today for the first time as part of the AMEX Dining experience, and although I saw that it has a lot of negative reviews from previous AMEX clients, my experience was completely different. The food was good and the portions, although offered to share, were generous enough that I didn't leave the restaurant hungry. The food was tasty, the restaurant filled out quickly immediately after opening (and so it looked like a very popular spot), the meals were served quickly even if the restaurant was busy and the service was excelent (compared to what others described, we were asked at least 4 times if everything was OK with the food and also if we are ready for the next meal). The only downside I can think of (and it's not a big deal really) is that after leaving the restaurant, both me and my husband were "properly smoked", so all our clothes ended up straight in the washer 🫣😅

Very good restaurant. We went for dinner, with the 5 course menu. Great wine selection They have an open kitchen, which makes the whole experience amazing, as you see them actually cook your meal.
