Nice cafe at the entrance of the museum. Lots of space inside and a smaller seating area outside. Apple cake and carrot cake were very tasty.

Kafe Arkadia has a convenient location right by the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History and offers plenty of seating, making it an easy spot to stop by. The service was on the slow side but attentive once we were helped. The coffee was excellent, but the food didn’t quite deliver. The cinnamon bun was dry, the trout sandwich had far too much bread and very little trout, and the sausage dish looked like a hotdog in the menu picture but was served in a tiny tortilla. Despite the presentation, the flavor was actually quite good. Overall, a convenient café for coffee and a break, but the food could be improved.
