One of my favorite theaters, without a doubt. The technical crew was simply outstanding—and trust me, I choose my words carefully! Independent, highly responsive, and always one step ahead, they anticipated every move I made. I couldn’t even keep them busy; they were already taking care of everything with remarkable precision. A level of attention and care that is, sadly, sometimes missing in this line of work. Black Box is a unique venue in Norway, not your typical hosting space. The stage has a raw and minimalist feel, with a steel square grid overhead and a few motors here and there—very practical for all kinds of setups. The stage is floor-level and accommodates around 200 people in the audience. Load-ins and load-outs are done directly from the street, using an external elevator. The bar is also very welcoming, but above all, I must highlight the warm and generous reception we received from everyone at Black Box. Thank you so much!
