Local spot that sells a huge assortment of sweets. We tried a few and personally I'd skip them as I found them too sweet for my taste. However, the true show stopper is the beignet (fried donut). It is only 2 euros and freshly fried to order. You can hear the oil bubbling and popping as the cook lowers the dough into the deep fryer in the kitchen. The donut is hot, fluffy, airy, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and slightly sweet if you ask for sugar to be added.
