This was THE first place I sat down in France. I stopped at the bakery a few doors down and had an espresso and beer. Wait staff are very warm and friendly, even to a non French speaker. $1 café à émporter (espresso). Looks like a well known place to some locals. They seemed very familiar with the place, each other, and the staff. Great place off the main drag to sit and people watch.
