About

Nordbad in Schwabing-West, Munich, offers a refreshing escape for both young and old with its combination of amenities. Designed by the talented architect Karl Meitinger and opened in October 1941, this venue stands as a hub of entertainment featuring a variety of swimming and leisure facilities. Families can enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools, a paddling pool for the little ones, and for those seeking relaxation, a whirlpool and comprehensive sauna landscape await. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the on-site fitness center, while anyone needing to unwind can take advantage of the massage services.

Accessibility is thoughtfully considered, with wheelchair access provided throughout the complex, including tailored facilities in changing areas and pool entry aids. Visitors can easily reach Nordbad via multiple bus and tram lines, ensuring convenient public transport options.

While the venue is accommodating, visitors should be aware of a few aspects: some might find the outdoor pool chilly on certain days, and the whirlpool may not meet everyone's warmth preferences. The sauna changing area could also benefit from more privacy options. Despite these minor points, Nordbad remains a delightful spot for a day of fun and relaxation. Payment is made easy with options for debit cards and NFC transactions, making the visit as seamless as possible.

Trist.
