Living just up the street, I’ve tried many restaurants along Málaga’s beaches, but Picasso has truly become my favorite. The food and setting are wonderful, but what makes it truly special is the warmth and care of the people here. I often come with my little puppy, and every time we arrive she’s greeted with so much kindness — as if it’s the very first time. She gets so excited as we approach, which says everything. A special mention goes to Rachel and the entire bar team. Their tinto de verano is always ice-cold, served with plenty of ice, and enjoyed in the best atmosphere — they make every visit a delight. And I can’t say enough about Francesco, who runs the sunbed and umbrella area with such care and professionalism. He keeps everything spotless and organized, always greets with a smile, and goes out of his way to make sure guests are comfortable. More than once, he’s even stepped in to protect my space from unwelcome interruptions — a kindness that truly touched me. Picasso is more than a beach restaurant — it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for, and I’m so grateful to have it just steps from home.
