Il 21 ottobre 2019, questo spazio espositivo è stato trasformato nel Centro Culturale della Fondazione Unicaja a Malaga. La Fondazione Unicaja sta sviluppando lì un programma ambizioso, con numerose mostre attentamente curate e con artisti di altissimo livello. Il nucleo più importante del Palazzo Episcopale risale al XVIII secolo e fu finanziato dal vescovo José Franquis Lasso nel 1762. La facciata principale, disposta in cinque sezioni e tre piani, presenta un portale-altare nella parte centrale. È possibile visitare gli spazi principali del Palazzo Episcopale: il cortile porticato, la scala imperiale, la cappella e il giardino privato.
