Der Besuch im Soul Food in Lübeck war leider keine durchweg positive Erfahrung. Zwar waren die Portionen großzügig und das Essen grundsätzlich okay, aber es fehlte der letzte Schliff, um wirklich zu überzeugen. Am störendsten war jedoch der dauerhafte Gestank nach altem Frittierfett, der im ganzen Lokal hing. Der Geruch war so intensiv, dass er selbst nach dem Verlassen des Restaurants noch an der Kleidung haftete. Soul Food in Lübeck hat Potenzial, aber in der aktuellen Form überzeugt es nicht. Die Mischung aus durchschnittlichem Essen, launischer Bedienung und der unangenehmen Geruchsbelästigung macht es schwer, einen entspannten Besuch zu genießen.
