I went to Toklas Bakery before work and it really impressed me. Their staff was friendly and the service was quick, they have seating in the back to work if you want. Most of all, the pastries were excellent. I got the raspberry spandauer, essentially a giant pastel de nata with tart raspberries, which became top 5 best pastries I’ve had in London. My friend got the egg sandwich on brioche and wouldn’t shut up about it, so that’s good for a heartier breakfast option.
