Excellent bread and lovely carrot cake! I have been back here a handful of times and am always impressed with the service and food. If you want tasty homemade cakes and quality coffee, that is exactly what you will get at wild goose. Their sandwiches and soups are delightful too. The outdoor seating come summer is really pleasant to sit out at. Great little gem on the high street.

Usually grab the coronation chicken sandwich. You didnt have it today so grabbed the ‘ham and cheese’, which was a lot more than that. Perfect bread, homemade caramelised onion, different cheeses, ratio etc. I know it’s just a sandwich but most places have stuff that I usually feel like I can make better myself or doesn’t justify the price, but these sandwiches are great so felt it warranted a review - keep it up!
