We're staying in a flat in Bethnal Green before we move to our permanent spot. This Thai place is next door. I walked in and the place was booked solid but the hostess offered me a spot at the counter. I gladly accepted and was soon glad I accepted. I had pad thai with chicken, vegetables and lemon Thai ice tea. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food came out in what seemed like only two or three minutes. And the food..,incredibly yummy. I have never had better pad thai ever. And they had all the ingredients spread in the bowl so you could the spiciness you wanted by mixing in a little or a lot of the crushed chili peppers. The tea was a wonderful sweet tart homemade drink. Before we go to to our permanent spot and many times after we get settled in I will be back to this neighborhood gem in Bethnal Green. You should go there too.
