Lovely stop off at The Broca, close to Brockley station this morning. Staff were welcoming and friendly on an overcast Wednesay mid-morning, promptly greeting me, taking and producing my order (oat iced latte) and engaging in pleasant chit-chat with patrons who seemed that way minded. Noting that they didn't charge more for alternative milks helped me to enjoy my caffeinated oaty concoction at my leisure on one of the many outdoor tables available in this pleasant spot within a moments reach of Brockley station (Windrush line & National rail). It was also evident that the café had a strong (and quite witty) community behind it, as evidenced by the eclectic interior including satirical vests bearing the Broca name (pictured). I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Broca this morning. The only thing which could have been improved would be if I had a higher quality phone with which to produce my Google local guides content (pixel 9pro or 9a ideally) or even a coffee cup or travel bag to signpost my intentions more clearly on my guiding travails. Worth travelling for!
