About

The Brew House Café is a charming spot in London perfect for grabbing a meal with friends or enjoying some peaceful solo dining. Known for its affordable prices, this café delights its guests with a variety of vegan offerings served in a cozy, casual atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, you'll find a range of dishes from hearty soups and omelettes to delightful vegan cakes that have received glowing reviews. While their lemon drizzle cake and brownies come highly recommended, some items like the 'double egg mayonnaise sandwich' could use a bit more finesse according to some patrons.

With both indoor and outdoor seating options, it's a great place to relax and indulge. The café offers a buffet, quick service, and a range of beverages including tea, coffee, beer, and wine. While it lacks gluten-free options, the healthy vegan treats are not to be missed. Although the freshly made items might not always hit the mark, the overall experience is buoyed by their excellent vegan desserts.

Absolutely delighted with the vegan dessert choices! So yum I came back the next day to try another and also found a tub of plant based ice cream to accompany the Bakewell slice! I also tried the blueberry and banana cake yesterday haha. Also a yummy spiced chickpea wrap before. I prefer to sit outside up the stairs overlooking the fields and trees as quite loud in the restaurant and the outdoor part is ok. Definitely will return to try another vegan treat soon.... perhaps tomorrow hee hee

We were visiting for the John Singer Sargent exhibition on a blisteringly hot day (so food tended to dry out quickly) The fish pie was excellent. I genuinely think that fish pie was worthy of a full on restaurant, not a cafe. Top marks. Congratulations to the chef. The quiche was so-so. My daughter wanted the "double egg mayonnaise sandwich". I know it was bought in by a 3rd party supplier. Fire them. My 12 year old daughter put the sandwich down after one bite. She asked me to take a bite and describe it. I was amazed. it literally had no flavour at all. No salt, no egg, no bread, no mayonnaise flavour at all. It was like tasting a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of an egg mayo sandwich. It was almost astounding this could be done. The lemon drizzle cake and brownies were good, they fought against the drying effect of 31C in the shade valiantly so they get a pass. 4* for food carried entirely by the fish pie which I want to do at home now.
