So I’m a bit torn about giving 5 stars but ultimately I’m rating it on the food, which was delicious. All the dishes we tried were perfectly cooked and very tasty. However some things were lacking with the service. Firstly, there was an open-top blue glass bottle of water on the table when we arrived. When ordering drinks we asked if we could have some tap water for our son and the waiter told us “of course there’s water right here”. So naturally we drank it thinking it was free. When we finally got the bill I was very surprised to be charged for the water, as it was never mentioned. What makes this worse is that I’ve read other reviews here mentioning the same thing and they still have not corrected the issue or offer free water. When ordering desserts, we tried to get 2 of the choose 3 and the 6 dessert sampler for our family but the sampler never came. Not a huge deal as we were not charged for it but my wife was looking forward to trying it and by the time we realized it wasn’t coming we had to leave. I will say that our server was very nice and friendly, there were just some miscommunications which were disappointing. Finally, a service charge was automatically added to the bill. I’ve found this to be a theme in London but am very much against it. I tip at every restaurant I go to but I think it’s very presumptuous to force a specific service charge on a customer. Normally I would tip more than what the service charge would be but it’s extremely off putting to have it added to your bill automatically.

Cibo buono e atmosfera tranquilla.
