We used to eat from here regularly when we lived opposite but it had been sometime; she had suggested sushi so i suggested here and we were both excited by the prospect of their green dragon sushi! I ordered it, had intended to get two but she went for katsu curry instead. We couldn't work out if the bowls were smaller or extra portion but her katsu curry was overflowing- it was very well wrapped so that wasn't an issue just trying to open it to eat itto She couldn't eat it all so id say it was a very decent sized portion I was very keen for my dragon roll but as id ordered tempura squid and gyozas first I thought id better eat them while they were hot. I'd fancied salt and pepper squid so maybe I shouldn't have ordered this as it was very different however it wasn't chewy and seemed fresh. I had thought it may be fatty but I managed to eat it all myself (again daughter had a bite but i think she was expecting what we'd usually get). The gyozas were lovely and tasty. While I don't usually use the chili mayo I did today and it went ok; i usually prefer the vinegar. The green dragon roll was lovely and as i remember it so will continue to get it again (and again) my only reflection is that when we used to get them they were not so warm, a bit colder - so while i appreciate the freshness and will not stop buying it, when its not so warm the consistency and flavour is nicer.. maybe i should remember abd put it in the fridge but always get carried away! My daughter was surprised and disappointed by the potato in the spring rolls so didn't eat them and had been looking forward to them, i gave them to someone else who would probably enjoy them .. tbh I thought she was lucky there weren't mushrooms as thats what id expect from veggie spring rolls and she doesn't like them either Will definitely be back soon
