Superb breakfast! Excellent poached eggs, very tasty sausage and absolutely delicious mushrooms. The toast was magic! Jerome cooks with an obvious passion and it more than comes through with the sheer high quality of the food. This wonderful eaterie deserves your support! Forget your anodyne chain coffee shops, citizens of Blackheath, Lee and Lewisham, and get yourselves to a fantastically local independent café NOW!

I took my neice here to have afternoon tea as a treat, the cakes and sanwiches where lovely and made fresh on arrival. The sanwishes and scones with clotted cream was a hit with my neice who is autistic. I loved the humus, spinache and sweet peppers sandwiches aswell as the selection of cakes. As a person with a small appetite it was quiet abit of food which meant we had leftovers we can have later in the day. Jerome the owner was soo lovely and attentive. He was very sweet and I had a lovely conversation with him during my visit.
